You can't tell by looking at the intake manifold on the 3.1L V6. This is because it is stamped on the lower intake manifold. Yo need to do some serious disassembly to get to it.

The firing order on the 3.1L V6 is 1-2-3-4-5-6

If you have the 2.2L I4, the firing order is 1-3-4-2

on the intake manifold of the motor, on the top, there are a set of numbers stamped onto it, that is the firing order for that motor. if its not there, you can either look in your owners manual , or go to your local chevy dealers service dept and ask them.
