I need good writing music..?
I'm trying to find music that isn't going to distract me, but would be a good background sound for writing. I've been working on a story and I can't write in silence, but I keep getting distracted by my music. Suggestions? :)

If your music distracts you, switch it off. (Old Japanese proverb)

Classical is a good choice because it doesn't have lyrics to distract you
Rammstein is good, it's kinda heavy but it's sung in German so you won't be able to understand what they are singing.
I'm a big Bon Jovi fan so I'll suggest him just because. =)
If you don't like classical go for instrumental. Pink Floyd has an album that's done by an orchestra, it sounds AWESOME but they don't sing in it so there are no words to distract you from your writing.

If you insist on playing music, keep it low. Maybe play a lighter song. Maybe something that matches the situation of what you're writing might be okay. I personally like doing fight scenes, and if I'm doing that, I'll play something heavy and fast first or during.
I normally like to work with music.

I find that putting on the classical music radio station real low helps. I have also written quite a bit to Enya CDs.
I also find that getting away from my life and going to the local coffee shops helps incredibly with output. There's noise, but no one is focusing on me so I can get a lot done.

I write well to "Her Space Holiday"

and "The Album Leaf"
Both are mellow and quite chilled--good background music.
