Is there any commodity in the world which is priced higher for a used one rather than a new one? Don't say wine as it is not used ones which are priced higher. Only old ones are priced higher.

    Made me laugh though...a while ago I was in Sydney and saw a shop proudly displaying a sigh out the front "Antiques Made To Order"...?

    if you didn't want us to say Wine, you shouldn't have posted this in the Beer, Wine & Spirits channel, but here:

    Balsamic Vinegar, the new stuff goes for a few dollars, the 25+ year old stuff goes for a few hundred.

    chinese century egg... its a egg that has been preserved in clay, ash and lime. new egg: about .10, century egg: $5

    coffee beans: fresh: worthless, they have to be cured and dried, then roasted

    vanilla beans: same as coffee

    this is just some food items i thought of.
