    Turn the temp setting down.

Industry recommends 120 deg F to be the setting for your hot water. T&P valve should be replaced if it is leaking, but is not related to the water temp. Since you have replaced it, open it a crack to be sure there is no trapped air in the heater.

Please adjust temp control down, keeping it at that temp may overheat and cause a bigger problem later. If that doesn't work, try changing the Element to one for lower heating.Alot of times when we replace one part we put a strain on another.

yes, adj. temp. relief valve is a safety device only & has nothing 2 do w/ temp. unless your meaning wwater is coming from relief, then definately turn down.
