Countertenor needs a good college-suggestions for getting there and where?

Ok, so I am a junior in high school. I guess I am a countertenor or so I have been told. I recently was accepted to the national acda honor choir as an alto and am really excited.

But the whole college process scares me.

Where do i get started? What programs would fit my needs?

I am really hoping for a conservatory and I have good grades so the academic part won't be a problem.

I live in Ohio, so anything within 3 hours would be a plus but I'm open. Any good music schools or conservatories out there? Any that deal with CT"s?

Millikin University in Decatur, IL. I go there now for vocal music education and absolutely love it. It is very small, about 2500 people, so if you're looking for a big school then don't go here. Regardless, the music program is great and the faculty are amazing. I would check it out if I were you. Congrats on acda.
