my endo suggested getting a continuous glucose monitoring system (CGMS) instead. She said that her other patients who tried the watch did not get good readings and ended up testing 10+ times a day anyways. When you get the hang of a CGMS you can reduce the number of times you have to test a day but you still have to test. The technology is just not there yet for us to stop pricking our fingers :(

Don't buy one. They are expensive to operate and can cause skin sensitivity and can give inaccurate readings during the summer should you sweat.
