Tenerife Island is terrific. You get there straight from the UK with many frequent cheap flights while all European cities have economic flights to this biggest of all Canary Islands with eternal spring as well.
Many connection flights may be caught in Madrid also.
Check out lots of great things you can do in Tenerife which now has the biggest attraction park of Europe called Siam Parque or Siam Park, too.
Not to forget the awesome Cañadas del Teide with Spain's highest peak(snow in winter). You find info on Las Americas and Arona in the index of my homepage under button "By las Americas". This area is highly popular with young people.
Also much info in beaches and exciting cheap shopping.
The advantage of Tenerife is that it's small. Therefore you can explore all of it in a short holiday.
Temperature of ocean is 22-23 degrees Celcius in November.
Probably even warmer on South beaches.
