Poisonous spider bites are unmistakable - the bites cause extreme reactions, probably unlike anything you have ever seen before. Typical reactions initially include very bright red spot, often with a white bulls-eye at the center; along with a a very hard, raised bump that soon looks like a miniature volcano. The bite may not be painful at first but it can develop a very painful burning sensation if it starts affecting a nerve. After several days, the sore area continues to expand and the bump eventually collapses, and the whole thing starts to look like a hole is developing under the skin. The link shows a brown recluse bite which is very similar to the hobo spider bite
