what do you need to take with you when you're getting your drivers license?

ive taken the course 101-parent taught drivers ed. i know you have to have several sources of ID, but what else do you need to bring with you?

i live in Texas, if that makes any difference.

    ID, Social Security Card or number, proof of age (birth certificate or passport) and money for the license fee. You will also need to show proof of liability insurance.

    ID, permit of the driver to take the test, vehicle registration and proof of current insurance, the vehicle must also have current inspection, and in good working order.

    call the licenses branch and ask my kids had to have proof of residence
