Does anybody know the "strategy for finding gravity(g)"?

Well on earth gravity is 9.8 meters per second squared or 32 feet per second squared

A pendulum period depends on gravity, so measuring the period will give you a value for g
The period for a pendulum of length L is given by
T = 2*pi*Sqrt[L/g] assuming all the mass is at the end of the pendulum, or at least that that is a good approximation
