Just look at the fractions. The numerator is always 1 and the denominator has this pattern: 1, 4, 9, 16... those are just square numbers

1² = 1 x 1 = 1

2² = 2 x 2 = 4

3² = 3 x 3 = 9

4² = 4 x 4 = 16

The pattern is 1/n², so the next numbers will be:

1/5² = 1/25

1/6² = 1/36

1/7² = 1/49

1/8² = 1/64

etc.

Answer:

1/25, 1/36, 1/49, 1/64, etc.

P.S. These were fractions, but if you are ever trying to figure out the next value in a sequence of *integers* try the "Online Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences". You can Google for "OEIS" and you'll find it. For example, if you didn't know the next number in the sequence 1, 4, 9, 16, ... you could search for it there.
