Using PHP's mail() to send mail. The From field appears blank on PCs, but not Macs. Why?

The headers are properly formed and the From address displays fine on Mac mail clients and web mail (Gmail, etc.) But when the message is received on a PC the From field is totally blank.

Really you should show the code that you are using to send it, i have had email sent from the mail funcito nshow the From: field in Outlook express no problem.

If its a unix server using sendmail then the -f additional parameter is sometimes needed.

You must use the 5 parameter version of mail() for this to show in Windows.

The "desire Diamond" became sent in the time of the U.S. postal service to the museum in Washington. by utilising the way, there's no value placed on it, it is so high priced. some say "thousands and thousands"
