C4 plants separate their carbon fixation stage from the Calvin Cycle spatially. Carbon fixation occurs in the mesophyll cells while the Calvin Cycle occurs in the bundle sheath cells.

CAM plants have carbon fixation and the Calvin Cycle all in the same cells, but they separate the two temporally. Carbon fixation occurs at night and the Calvin Cycle occurs during the day.
