first of all, when do you get to decide whether you're taking biology E or M? (because i wasn't asked when registering)

secondly, which would you suggest I answer?

and if i'm doing one of the two, are there certain topics i dont have to study? (I have the barron's SAT II book for biology, 12th edition)

So, you decide on test day. When you get your scantron booklet, you bubble in a separate code for Ecological and a separate code for molecular. But obviously you should know before test day which to takke or you are screwed. I took the ecological, but I felt both are equally beneficial. I'd recommend you get a prep book take an entire practice test for each type and let your scores choose for you.

    Hope this helps.

I second Linda L's advice on the practice tests, but add that make sure the prac tests are from the collegeboard book.
