If at all how has this election changed you. or your views of America and the world as a whole?

I watched the election with my family and we all cried, then wrapped our arms around each other and sang “God Bless America” with tears in our eyes. I cried both with many others all around the world and with relief that a man has come to power whom I believe can lead us to an America that we no longer need to be ashamed of. The past eight years have been devastating to me and my vision of what America is and should be. I have continued to cry when encountering photos and summaries that communicate how much hope this election has brought us, and how even people in other countries believe in the same ideal America that I do. I am so relieved to live again in the America I love.. not perfect, but striving for good. For all its "Beautiful" people.

I was a Republican before. Now I will never vote republican again. This election forced me to look into what I have been preaching to others for years. I called the Dems. the tax and spend party, I said they were irresponsible with money. When I said that this election I was told that's not the truth and Reps are responsible for 90% of the nations $10 Trillion debt. After I did my research I found that I was wrong that the Dems were right. I was just repeating thing I was told even though they were not true.

My view hasn't changed much at all...

This country is still on a downhill slope to deterioration.

People are still looking for a hand out, more and more each day, our children lack humility and feel that they are entitled, crime is through the roof, our education system is garbage, our economy is in the toilet, people are living outside their means and refuse to take responsibility for their own financial downfalls. We're going to hell in a hand-basket and now we have a liberal rookie at the wheel to boot.

This seems to have become the land of entitlement and rights, rather than the land of opportunity that it was intended to be.

I still have hope that some day, someone will slap the stupid off half the country and bring us back around to good....but I'm not holding my breath, we've become too self indulgent and immodest...and I certainly don't see that happening in the next 4 years, or 8 for that matter.

The international powers that be already do. The Federal Reserve and its equivalents international make certain each little thing. Ever right here "stick to the money path" it somewhat is actual whilst in seek of actuality. The markets command some 500 Trillion funds well worth of securities, futures, and monetized debt standard around the globe. The boards of the Fed and their foreign places colleagues fairly plenty set the schedule. it somewhat is the NWO of positioned up-WWII. look at "Fiat Empire" on google unfastened video. a incredible documentary.

The same as SillyG said ; the u.s. will continue its downward spiral of erosion, due to rampant, unchecked corruption ; only now freshly underlined as everyone permitted a marxist, socialist, lying liberal with ties to terrorists to enter the presidential race even though he was ineligible.. No one cares if someone who can't even produce a full version of a birth certificate & admits to being a citizen of Indionesia is planning on being inaugurated as President of the U.S. Forget that the constitution requires one to be a natural born citizen to even enter the race.. Fundamental Laws are violated by entire organizations & corruption is obviously allowed to prevail ; yet one has the intestinal fortitude to ask how I view america as a whole......

As a disable AF vet whose wife is currently active duty in the AF I have never been ashamed to call myself an American, even in the worst of times. American has always been the home of the free and at its worst was far and above any other country out there. My 9 years in the AF took me to many places around the globe, some of which required us to hide the fact that we were military due to fear of being attacked by the locals if they found out we were U.S. military. And this was during Clinton's term. Anyhow, this introduced me to how many other countries out there treated their citizens. It wasn't always a pretty picture. I was active duty when Clinton became our President and even though I thought he was screwing up our country and hated him for it I still had pride in being an American. And I think it is pathetic when I hear people saying that they were ashamed to admit being a U.S. citizen during Bush's presidency. Bush may be far from being the perfect President to some people but that should not reduce someone's pride in being an American. The President is only a temporary leader and even with a bad one in charge the country as a whole is still the best one out there. To say you were ashamed to be an American during one President's term is a slap in the face of Americans who still believe in their country. You might not like Bush but that is no reason to hate your country itself.

Very touching for you but time will tell how promises will never be kept and the rich will always get every thing and control all. People working together for the good for all is the only answer.

Lets wait until this election's honey moon is over before we reach any premature conclusions. However, I do welcome the changes.
