if it is pure silver and not silver plate use some aluminium foil in the bottom of your sink, cover with baking soda then pour in boiling water. Lay the silver tray on the foil for about 1 minute then remove and rinse and dry with a soft cloth

if it is silver plate and not coming clean from the autosol more than likely the plate has come off and it is just the base metal showing through

well, first of all, do you mean silver as in the color or its made of silver?

it if is made of silver, then clean it with toothpaste and rinse with cool water. dont use hot water. im not sure why, but cleaning anything made out of real silver makes it sparkle and shine.

if its not made of silver, then it depends on whatever its made of.
