On both of them, when you graph it, which way would you shade the line graph!?

    it would be shaded in the middle

    1. Y< 1/2 + -5 and arrow goes left

    2. Q< -2/3 + -4 and arrow goes left again

    Since they do not have a equal sign under them (it would read less than or equal to) you would do a dashed line. (spaces between parts of line)

    1) Y<4 1/2 <-------------- that way

    2) 3 1/3 > Q -------------------> that way
