i just want to know is it true that when you turn 18 you can automatically take the driving test ?

and you could not do the written part i live in california and i just want to know

    no, you always have to take a written test and pass before you can take the driving test - in all states

    i live in tulare california and you have to do the permit test first which is the written test then you can take the driving test whenever you want if you over 18. the permit test cost 28 dollars if you fail you have 3 chances and when you take the driving test the first 1 is free and after that it cost 6 dollars each time

    No, that's not true. You will still be required to take the written test to obtain a permit/license, then you'll need to pass the driving test. Once you're 18 you no longer need professional behind the wheel instructions, though.
