How do you find the slope of a line?

In math class we have to find the slope of a line. I would highly appreciate it if someone could explain how to do it in detail or send me a good website.

We are given pionts such as (2,5) (-2,5) then a graph with nothing on it. We have to find the slope and then make a line on the graph using the slope/points. How do you do this? Thanks to anyone that answers!!!

    find the change in y

    5 - 5 = 0

    then find the change in x

    (-2) - 2 = -4

    slope is the change in y over the change in x

    slope = 0/-4 or 0
