    of course!

Take example of a shark. A great explaination you can read o webside "safe the shark"

    http://www.starbreezes.com/sharkring.html

"Sharks are animals and do not think in the same manner as humans. They attack instinctively, for food or out of fear, not out of malice."

People say that most sharks’ attack are nonfatal because they think we are the seals

But they do think... few years back we caught a small shark in South Africa.. my dad took hook out of its mouth and before other people asked for it and took it away, it was watching me.. as I was moving around its eyes have been watching me around.. I felt so very sorry for it!

Also, worth a read: " The world's most intelligent fish - he plays football, basketball and even limbo dances "

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-564101/Pic...

" Scientists highlight fish 'intelligence' "

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/west_yo...

" There is certainly more evidence for intelligence in fish than in monkeys "

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2003/sep/04/this...

Anyway, if you have any doubt please watch "Finding Nemo" or "Shark Tale"

    :-)

Yes and some are smart enough to learn and retain things. I have had a fish that could recognize me as the feeder and did not pay attention to any other person who approached the tank. When I shaved my beard it took it several days to recognize my new appearance. The same fish reasoned a solution to eating snails with hard shells. First it would try to crush the snails in it's throat and this worked for the young thin shelled ones. The bigger ones it spit back out. Then one day I saw it pick up a small stone with a hard snail and crush the snail against the stone the way I squeeze two walnuts together to crack them. In a few weeks there were no more snails in the tank.

Yes fish have brains and think. They also feel pain. Many kinds mate for life. This would indicate love.

Yes, fish have a brain and think, how else would they eat and swim? Maybe you are getting confused with thier memory-they only remember things for about 3 seconds. :)

Yes, fish are regarded as highly intelligent. Also thought of as "cunning and cultured".
