YES,, for some people it is the best medication they could be using,,, forget all the little kiddie school comments,, they come from people that only experience with marijuana is what they were told at school,, they don't understand the difference between abuse and use!! It's one of the condition that it has been determined by several state governments to be a legal treatment option. For some people it works, for others it doesn't seem to help much,, it all depends on the person and the quality of the pot.
There is a major difference in the marijuana you buy at a co-op and the pot you buy on the streets,, a big difference
What a bunch of funny answers from people that don't have the slightest idea what they are talking about,,, it's been PROVED, by DOCTORS, that is is medically advantageous for conditions like migraines,,, that's why it is now legal in 13 states,, so kids when they say 'Just say No' they don't mean to drugs your doctor prescribe for you
I'm a medical marijuana patient. Without the marijuana I have to take about 30% more narcotics like oxycodone and hydrocodone to help control pain
BTW: There are no withdrawls with marijuana use,,, once again a myth!!! I've been smoking it for several years and when I don't really need it I don't smoke and I've never felt any withdrawls,, and trust me I know what withdrawls are unlike most here,,,, I was a heroin addict due to chronic pain caused by a spine injury I suffered in a car accident with a drunk driver
I'm a chronic pain patient and I was part of a medical marijuana study at UCSD several years ago.
