麻煩能幫我更正兩句英文 好嗎

以前我總是想,像我這樣的人,有什麼資格去追求幸福。

I always thought i am such a person who did not have any qualification to search for my happiness before.

但是當我日子過的很辛苦的時候,我卻有著前所未有的幸福。

When I had difficulty in my life, I had happiness which I have never had before.

Update:

真的很謝謝二位老師的幫助。

還要特別謝謝 Elisa老師的句型很豐富,也很精簡。

只是以下這兩句的動詞時態

英文不好的我 不知道為什麼會如此用

請Elisa老師抽空幫我解釋一下 好嗎

感恩不盡

Whenever I faced adversity, I had the most happiness ever.

= Whenever facing adversity, I have the most happiness ever.

    (1) Grammar wise, there is not much error. However, your sentence is very wordy. Try to make your sentence shorter. Remember the phrase “short and sweet”.

You don’t need to state “before” in your sentence because your verb tense is past tense. Remember “I” is capital letter.

    以前我總是想,像我這樣的人,有什麼資格去追求幸福。

I always thought I am such a person who did not have any qualification to search for my happiness before.

This is what I would rewrite to make it short and sweet.

I always thought that a person like me deserves no pursuit of happiness.

    (2) Watch out for your tense. “Had never had” comes before “had happiness”.

    但是當我日子過的很辛苦的時候,我卻有著前所未有的幸福。

When I had difficulty in my life, I had happiness which I had never had before.

This is what I would rewrite to make it short and sweet.

Whenever I faced adversity, I had the most happiness ever.

= Whenever facing adversity, I have the most happiness ever.

If you cannot understand my sentence structure, please let me know.

I used past tense because I am assuming that they were things happened in the past and the joy you felt also happened in the past.

Whenever I faced adversity, I had the most happiness ever.

Whenever = conjunction, connecting two sentences: “I faced adversity” and “I had the most happiness ever”

    2008-11-12 00:09:48 補充:

I had the most happiness ever.

The most = the highest (comparative adjective used to modify the noun: “happiness”

Ever = adverb used to modify the verb “had”

Adjectives modify nouns; adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs

    2008-11-12 00:10:16 補充:

Whenever facing adversity, I have the most happiness ever.

Whenever = adverb used to describe the verb “facing”

    Facing is “present participle”

    以前我總是想,像我這樣的人,有什麼資格去追求幸福。

Previously, I always thought that I am such a person who do not have the right to pursue the happiness.

    但是當我日子過的很辛苦的時候,我卻有著前所未有的幸福。

When I had difficulty in my life, I had happiness which I have never had before. (這一句基本上OK 以下請參考)

    重寫:

I own the unprecedented happiness while I was at the hard time.

    unprecedented沒有前例的,空前的;無比的。
