Looking for a new wine to drink, any ideas?

German Riesling is your best bet. "Halb Tronken" means half dry, so its under10% ABV and has some sugar. Also look for "Auslese" or "Spatlese" on the label. These are from riper grapes that are sweeter. The Germans like their wines sweeter, for me its always a bit too sweet, but I am sure they are right up your alley. Remember though, there is a differance between dry and acidic. Dry means all the sugar is turned to alcohol. You can still have dry wines that taste light and fruity, like some Chardonnays.

Check out Rosa Regale. Very nice sparkling red wine. Amazing wine for chocolate deserts. Inexpensive 10-15$, comes in a nice looking champagne bottle, great for having guests over cause it looks expensive. Enjoy!

If you like white wine, try a sweet Riesling.

You might like Chenin Blanc because it's nice and fruity and neutral.

real wine must be an endangered species :(

it truly saddens me, one of these days we'll only speak of things like "cabernet" in museums, what a pity
