    1. 2,9,16,23

    a) next 3 terms

    b) use an algebraic expression to respresent the general term of the sequences.

    1st term=2

    common different=7

    next 3 terms : 30,37,44

    general term=2+(n-1)(7)=7n-5

    2. 64,32,16,8

    a) next 3 terms

    b) use an algebraic expression to respresent the general term of the sequences.

    1st term=62

    common ratio=0.5

    next 3 terms : 4,2,1

    general term=(64)(2)^(1-n)=2^(7-n) OR [0.5^(n-6)]
