Verizon.. texts over 160 characters?

I have Verizon and the text limit for one page is 160 characters. but when I'm in the middle of saying something to a non-verizon customer and it goes on more than 160 characters it says it goes to 2 pages. Do those two pages really send? or is it just the first 160 characters and my whole text gets cut off? Help please!

No only the first 160 characters will send and the rest will be cut off.

Yes your message will end after 160 seeing how it is a non verizon customer. if it is a verizon customer than there isn't a limit but I really done know why you need more than 160 characters in a text message.
