Could someone please tell me what the article, "Myth As Metaphor" means?

    If you meant by your question what I am thinking then the answer is:

    Myths are often being used as metaphor to emphasise a situation for example the media had described the house of J F Kennedy as the house of Camelot (Using the mythical story of King Arthur and the tragic end to describe the Kennedy's tragic deaths) another example is Achilles’ heel when some one use this myth to describe a fatal weakness in someone ore something.
