How do you know what headlight bulb fits your car?

I have a 1983 Plymouth Reliant and can not find anywhere online what size headlight bulbs it needs. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Your 1983 Plymouth Reliant headlamp bulb size is a H6054.You can buy this sealed beam bulb at any of your local auto parts stores. This bulb is called a duel beam headlamp.Because your high and low beam comes from the same bulb. You might want to replace both headlamps.Once one goes out most of the time the other side soon follows.Best of luck.

When you go to the local auto parts store, ask the counter person for a headlight bulb. They will ask the year, make, model, and if you need high beam, or low beam. Then they will supply you with the part number and get the part for you.

It does not have a headlight bulb that is replaced, it is a headlight unit. You need a 7" square one that has both hi and low.

Take the bulb to an auto store they can look it up and match it to the correct one.
