No. McCain's political advisers are so smug, they'll say it was ONLY the Economy and Bush that caused McCain to not be elected.
I totally disagree.
I think McCain's adviser's got him to sell his soul to the Bush 'way' negative campaigning. (Because most folks think McCain wasn't all that conservative to begin with). Then McCain's blatant choice of Palin, while at first unified the conservative base, totally fell by the way-side once Matthew Scully stopped being her speech writer.
There are so many things that went wrong for McCain.
But to answer the question, No, they won't try to figure out what went wrong, they'll blame Economic conditions, and the previous Republican president's low approval rating, and move on. No real reflection on the campaign's performance, and strategy.
