Learjet is a very nice and sleek looking airplane. However, the Citation will take you to more places simply because it doesn't require a whole lots of runway.

It very much depends on what is required ie; Route, fuel efficiency, speed, number of passengers to be carried.

Both have excellent safety records and the makers both provide a range of aircraft.

On which ''looks best'' I'd have a look at Learjet OE-GDF on Airliners.net departing Samedan (?) I think with a snowy mountain backdrop...!

    All the best

Horses for courses, buddy. Not for nothing is the Citation (early ones, anyway) known amongst corporate pilots as the "Slowtation".

I fly both. Which models? You really have to be specific. There is a world of difference among the different models.

    Source(s): ATP CE-500 & CE-680; experience in CE-560 (V, Ultra, & Encore) & CE-680 (Sovereign), and Lear 30-series and Lear 55.(My favorite of these: the CE-680 Citation Sovereign).
