Anil Kumble to retire today.Comments?

Anil kumble has announced his sudden retirement from test cricket & international cricket. He will be walking off after his huge amazing career of 19 years.

Do you think it was the right decision?

He was able to pick 3 wickets yesterday.I felt, still he had lot of potential to play on & remain as a wicket-taker,

What do you think is the reason to this?

But,everything is over.

We will miss a pearl amongs Indian cricket.

Hats off to him!

Update:

he took this decision today, may be,now, came like a shock!

Its always sad to see when such legend of the game says a final good bye. He's been Indian's best bowler and always gave his 100% on the field. Even at times he didn't got success but he made sure to gives all his effort and that's the quality to be admired about him the most. He has been a fighter throughout his career of 18 years. displayed some amazing examples of greatness whether it be his 10 wicket haul in a single innings or bowling for India with a broken jaw. Salute to Anil Kumble, one of the greatest cricketers ever!!!!

Yes, it was a shocking news. It's quite difficult for Indian cricket fans to accept that we are going to lose 2 of our legends at a span of such a short time. Kumble's decision to quit took one and all by surprise as no one really anticipated this tiding just towards the end of the Kotla Test.

Well, I feel that he too is good enough to have gone for some more time, atleast for a year or so. But the man has achieved everything he could have dreamt of-with 619 wickets to his name, he is not only the leading wicket taker for India, but also the 3rd highest of the world. He would always remain an exemplary figure in cricket, and I salute the finest leg spinner that India has ever seen!

Anil Kumble had taken 1136 wickets in first class and in international all the ten wickets against Pakistan was awesome performance.

  • Hats off to a legend! He is a hero to many young leg spinners around the world. One of the greatest spinners ever to live and he has served Indian cricket well with respect and integrity. There is no doubt that Kumble is a legend of the game and he should be praised for his efforts! India's greatest spinner ever.
