The first famous case is the miller case from 1939, though this is often read in different ways (UNITED STATES v. MILLER, 307 U.S. 174 (1939))

    PRESSER v. STATE OF ILLINOIS, 116 U.S. 252 (1886)

    U S v. CRUIKSHANK, 92 U.S. 542 (1875)

    ROBERTSON v. BALDWIN, 165 U.S. 275 (1897)

“the right of the people to keep and bear arms (article 2) is not infringed by laws prohibiting the carrying of concealed weapons;”

    federal court cases include

    U.S. v. Emerson, 46 F.Supp.2d 598 (N.D.Tex. 1999)

    Quilici v. Village of Morton Grove, 695 F.2d 261 (7th Cir. 1982), cert. denied, 464 U.S. 863 (1983).

Plus of course the heller/shelly parker v. DC case
