Her name is Jean Louise "Scout" Finch.

You're thinking of Jeremy Atticus "Jem" Finch.

No no, Scout is just a nicname! Her name given at birth is Jean Louise Finch. Atticus just called her Scout as a nicname because of the way she acts. Jem also is a nicname, by the way :)

Jean Louise “Scout” Finch - The narrator and protagonist of the story. Scout lives together with her father, Atticus, her brother, Jem, and their black prepare dinner, Calpurnia, in Maycomb. She is clever and, by potential of the standards of her time and place, a tomboy. Scout has a combative streak and a uncomplicated faith interior the goodness of the persons in her community. because of the fact the radical progresses, this faith is examined by potential of the hatred and prejudice that emerge for the time of Tom Robinson's trial. Scout at last develops a extra grown-up attitude that facilitates her to get excitement from human goodness without ignoring human evil. Aunt Alexandra - Atticus's sister, a stable-willed woman with a fierce devotion to her relatives. Alexandra is the appropriate Southern woman, and her dedication to propriety and custom oftentimes leads her to conflict with Scout.
