Is there bird flu in canada?

Is there bird flu in canada? Or can you can bird flu if you walk past a dead bird and brethe on the way? (But your close to it)

    It's one of 16 varieties of avian influenza or bird flu. So far, it's the only one that's shown any ability to directly pass from one human to another. It has spread from Southeast Asia to China, Russia, and Europe. The H5 strain of avian flu has hit Canada — in British Columbia and Manitoba in 2005 and P.E.I. in 2006 — but it wasn't the dangerous variety of the disease.

    Bird flu was a small epidemic that happened that was blown way out of proportion by the media, you will not get bird flu or come into contact with it. There are doubts to if it existed at all in fact
