Why did conservative talk-show host Smerconish endorse Obama?

Michael Smerconish is as popular as Rush in some large cities and appears as a 'talking head' on many network shows.

    Many conservatives either:

    A. Think McCain is a liberal or just too out of touch

    B. Think Palin is too far religio-right

    C. Believe Obama is the right choice for this election.

You must be mistaken... Granted he is a conservative.

He is no where near Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Jon Arthur, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Neal Boortz, Michael Savage, Bill O'Reilly, and Glenn Beck on the ratings...

No where near these guys... Not even in the same ball park..

Him supporting Obama should get as much coverage as my local representative doing so.... At most... Not saying mine did... cause mine isn't a complete idiot...

Not necessarily. Barack does appeal to some Republicans (not the Black ones, because know a FEW Republicans who will vote for Obama), but since I am unaware of the different types of Republicans that exist, I don't know who they are and why they are voting for him.

I went to his site & noticed he did an interview with Obama...I think anyone who listens to the candidates & can't tell Obama is way better than Ailing/Palin would have to have something stuck in there head so I imagine he has doesn't.

He is a fiscal conservative and we have seen nothing but out of control spending and big government with the GOP

Terrorism. He says he has spoken to Obama many times and feels Obama will go after bin Laden and the rest, unlike Bush and McCain.

Sounds like he votes policy and not party. Can't disagree with that.

Because he still wants to have a radio show.

Because Obama is right on the issues.
