What do you think? Can volunteer directly or English classes?

Question

One of my friends' mom wants to be a volunteer at christiana hospital, Delaware. My friend told me that her mom has a nurse aid program's certificate but I think she can't communicate, in another word she needs more English skill. In my opinion, she should take English courses before doing anything. What do you think and are there any another field that she can volunteer without having enough English skill?

She should learn to speak english anyway since she is living in the states. So yes to the english courses & it will give her more opportunity. :)
