As the vedio entertainment such as watching television and movies become more and more widely accepted, people spend much time on it. We see all kinds of characters emerge on the screen-clever detectives aggresively pushing people to give them clues, gorgeous models gyrating aroud to sensual music, cruel villains making the innocent suffer, and countless others. Admittedly, television and movies play an important role in influencing people’s behavior.

Movies and televison exert influence on people’s tendency to purchase certain products. There are always some people who try to imitate the characters in movies or teleplay and the actors who play them. A few years ago, girls in the United States loved to wear scuffed-up jeans, because that was what pop star Britney Spears often wore. Boys play this game too. Some boys wear bizzare outfit, trying to imitate the singers in their favorite rock bands.

People’s accent could also be changed due to the influence posed by movies and television. Many youngsters mimic their idols’ accent, thinking it is fashionable and cool. For example, nowadays in China, many teenagers imitate the distinctive and eccentric accent of the famous HongKong comedian Steven Chow. More and more youth in the United States are sounding like Californians, because many movies and television shows are produced by Hollywood.

The influence of television and movies goes deeper. They change people’s value and worldview ,and thus make some people violent and easy to crime, especially for children, as they are the most susceptible. According to a research, teenagers are most likely to commit crime under the influence of the media. Although some television program intends to prevent crime by introducing some cases, the outcome may be the opposite, for some people simply learn the ideas in the cases or even further develop them. Undoubtly, some crime movies also contribute a lot to people’s tendency to break law, triggering people’s desire to crime. Here is an example, as early as 1980s, with the wide spreading of many mafia movies, many teenagers in Hongkong abandoned their study and formed gang groups. Failing to realize what the world really is, they simply thought it was cool to be a rogue just like in movies.

With the development in the maturity of our society, people should be aware of the influence on people’s behavior that result from video entertainment. Regulations and laws ought to be enacted to minimize the negative influence, and make good use of and promote the positive one.

I am going to correct your grammar and spelling. Here it is:

As television and movies become an increasingly basic part of our lifestyle, we can see many of the repurcussions. We see all kinds of characters emerge on-screen: clever detectives aggresively, gorgeous models gyrating to sensual music, cruel villains causing the innocent suffer, and countless other personas. Because of the prominent place television holds in society, both the plots and characters of what we see have come to play an important role in influencing people’s behavior.

Television entertainment tends to influence people’s tendency to purchase certain products. There are always those who attempt to imitate the characters in movies and the actors who play them by way of investing in items that portray a certain image. For example, a few years ago, teenage girls in the United States begain to wear scuffed-up jeans, thanks to the influence of the pop star of that age: Britney Spears. Boys were not exempt from this sort of influence. Many boys began to don outfits that defied the societal norm, all in the desire to imitate the singers in their favorite rock bands. However, clothes and other material items are not the only things that people may pick up from television characters.

Accents, diction, and certain tones of a certain uniqueness can also be a heavy influence on many viewers. Many young viewers may mimic their idols’ accents, thinking it is fashionable and cool. Nowadays in China, many teenagers have begun to imitate the distinctive and eccentric accent of the famous Hong Kong comedian Steven Chow. Increasing numbers of youths in the United States have picked up the unique "Californian" style of speech, a direct result of Hollywood's heavy influence on the entertainment industry. But even beyond speech and how we attempt to connect with the entertainment world, the influence of the televised world goes far deepr.

Television has begun to revolutionize values, morals, world views, and, in some cases, cause violence and crime. At highest risk are the younger generation, such as children, whose minds are at a most susceptible and flexible period. According to a research, teenagers are most likely to commit crime under the influence of the media. Although some television programs intends to prevent crime by introducing some cases, the outcome may be the opposite; some people simply learn from the ideas the very cases try to prevent, or even further develop their own ideas. Undoubtly, many crime movies contribute law breakers' actions by triggering a desire to cause crime. As early as the 1980s, during the wide-spread popularity of many mafia movies, many teenagers in Hong Kong abandoned their studies and formed gang groups. Failing to realize what the world really is, they simply thought it was "cool" to be a rebel, just like it was portrayed in the movies.

As our society matures, we should be more aware of the behavior that stems from many negative portrayals on television. Regulations and laws ought to be enacted in order to minimize the negative influences, and, instead, emphasise the positive aspects to a plot. Only this way can we begin on a path to a less violent and a more positive world.

I hope this helps. I know you said you wanted tips, but I'm tired and that was a lot of editing.
