Laws on Jobs in Ontario?

I have a part time job in Ottawa,ON, Canada. I was wondering if i would be able to take a no-notice sick day off because I believe the law says they MUST be offered to me, but im not too sure. Can anyone help?

Update:

Just fyi. Its too late for me to notify them (they wont give it to me)

If you wake up very sick you can call in sick and they cannot fire you. I ran a business in Ottawa for years and employees do get sick and it is better for them to stay home than to come in and spread it around to all the other employees.

Best way is to give notice. No notice might get you in trouble with the brass.
