介係詞的選擇,這兩者有何差別?^^

We're was so grateful (to/for) all your help.

答案:for

請問答案為何是for,to的意思也可以用在這不是嗎?><

另外,小弟對這兩題也很迷惑:

1.Jay was tired (at/from) working all day.

2.Are you still nervous (about/for) tomorrow's test?

這兩題小弟還不知道答案,

但是怎麼看都覺得可以共用才對阿?

有人能替小弟解惑嗎^^||

    哎呀!!

    這位同學 你問的問題其實都是一些片語啦!

    英文就是有一些慣用語 有一些形容詞或是動次

    後面就是只能放那些介係詞而已

    grateful for 是 因"事情"而感謝 (後面通常會加 事情)

    We're so grateful for all your help.

    grateful to 是 感謝某人 的意思 (後面通常會加 人)

    I was grateful to Mary for all that she had done.

    另外 tired from 因...而感到疲倦

    tired of "感到厭煩" 應該沒有 tired at

    而 nervous 通常後面會加 about 或 of

    因....而感到緊張

    另外有一些字詞後面只能加特定的介係詞 例如

    excited about / at

    disgust at

    surprised at

    interested in

    spend 多少錢 for/on 什麼東西

    這些東西都算是片語 至於要怎麼分辨

    語感不好的話 只能一個一個記囉
