An "Alice" dress is fairly simple in design. It's just a fitted bodice, short puffed sleeves, and a full skirt, with a petticoat or crinoline under it, and a pinafore apron over it.
Unfortunately, this style isn't very fashionable or popular, so about the only ones you'll find are the really cheap costume ones (usually with very short skirts, and often in PVC, since they're made for "Adult Play").
Can you or any of your family or friends sew? There are some easy patterns for Alice or fairy tale costumes. If you started now, you could make a dress in plenty of time before Halloween, and it wouldn't be too expensive, since you could just make it out of poly-cotton broadcloth. With Halloween approaching, you could also find some specialty costume fabric on sale.
The Simplicity pattern is for a short dress, but you can make the skirt longer, by adding to the paper pattern before you pin it to the fabric for cutting.
