MY SIMS 2 GAME FREZZES IN A WEIRD WAY?

SO IM USING A NEW COMPUTER FOR THE FIRST TIME AT MY BOYFRIENDS HOUSE, OF WHOM I JUST MOVED IN WITH. I RECENTLY INSTALLED MY SIMS 2 GAME, HOWEVER WHEN I PICK THE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT I CHOOSE TO PLAY IN, THE NEIGHBORHOOD LOADS UP AND THEN WHEN IT FINISHES, IT FREEZES UP AND IT MAKES THIS REALLY ANNOYING BUZZING SOUND AND WHEN I PRESS CTRL AND ALT AND DELETE NOTHING HAPPENS, THE MOUSE DOESN'T EVEN MOVE AND IT NEVER UNFREEZES IT JUST STAYS THE WAY IT IS AND THE ONLY WAY I CAN STOP IT IS IF I PUSH THE POWER OFF BUTTON ON MY COMPUTER...SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME BECAUSE I HAVE A TV SHOW ON YOUTUBE WITH THE SIMS 2 AND I NEED TO HAVE THIS THING WORK OR ELSE IM RUINED.     (I already answered this, but because of another poster I will restate it here). The computer is using an ATI Radeon X1300 card, which is NOT an integrated graphics card, and runs the sims 2 just fine, but your drivers are very old.

    Its your graphics card. A graphics card generates all of the pixels on your screen. So far its intergraded graphics which means its not great for gaming. If you have a destop and not a laptop then your good because if you do have a laptop you have to get a new DESTOP. And make sure it has a good graphics card. When you buy it ask the person who your buying it from if the graphics card is good for gaming. So If you have a destop get a graphics card. Do some reseach up on graphics cards
