Although it's true she is not running for president, McCain will be lucky to live for another four years due to his age, so it is a question that needs to be asked.

The answer is no she is not.

For those who would say if she is not then Obama is not, well...

    PALIN:

5 different colleges for a BA in journalism and a "D" in macroeconomics.

    OBAMA:

    Occidental College - Two years.

Columbia University - B.A. political science with a specialization in international relations.

Harvard - Juris Doctor (J.D.) MagnaCumLaude (top 5% of his class)

...sorry but you are wrong, unless Palin can see Harvard from her house...

    McCAIN:

United States Naval Academy - Class rank 894 of 899 (bottom 1% of his class)

    BIDEN:

University of Delaware - B.A. in history and B.A. in political science.

Syracuse University College of Law - Juris Doctor (J.D.)

The Obama/Biden ticket is more knowledgeable at what our country needs right now.

I don't agree with the author at all. Sarah Palin has no national experience whatsoever. We've had 8 years of a "butt-kicker," and look what it's gotten us. And the author has mischaracterized Obama's policy completely. She's throwing around negative buzz-words left and right, without really looking at what policies he's putting forth. I read an article which quoted one man whom she said was her "mentor." As soon as he was no longer able to help her up the political ladder, she turned her back on him. It's apparently been a pattern of hers, according to several people in Alaska. And the "reformer" who ousted at least one politician because he campaigned on government time was guilty of the exact same thing while she was mayor. She pressured the town council to waive zoning violations so she could sell her house. She promised if they did, she would correct the violations later, but she never did. And this "reformer" wanted a bridge to nowhere until it got too hot politically, then she refused to build it, but kept the money. She still supports a similar multi-million dollar bridge to her hometown of less than 9,000 people, even though it would only shave a few minutes off their commute time, and roads in Alaska are a mess. Coincidentally, she and her friends own the land it would go over. To me, that's not being a maverick, either--it really is politics as usual.

She's a lot more qualified than Obama, and he is actually running fror president, so I don't see how democrats think pointing out her lack of experience is good for them.

If not for the fact that the liberal news media never talks about Obama's lack of experience, this would be a death nail for his campaign, and may well prove to be, when the votes, rather than just poll numbers, come in.

Yes, she is in the event that McCain, who is the presidential candidate, can no longer serve.

Ask a question and let people give you an answer based on their opinion and personal beliefs, not comment on some clip you want everyone to see.

That clip is not edited, that was her ACTUAL answer to the question...and yes it is very scary that she doesn't know how to speak on any of these issues. How is she going to speak with foreign leaders and allies who already don't like us. And yes she is running for President, as Vice President you still have the word President in your name and need to be expected to fill in where the President can't even if he/she are still alive.

Hell no! Sarah is the biggest joke and embarrassment to the GOP. McCain picked Palin to attract Clinton's disgrungle voters and to win the election. I think it has backfired. Obama does have foreign policy and national security experience and went toe to toe with McCain. He did win the first debate and apparently over 18 millions voters want him to be our next president. Yes, much more so than Obama. You don't vote because of an edited youtube clip. At least I don't! You vote on her outstanding record as the best Governor in America!

How come Obama voters on here NEVER want to compare records of achievement?
