Both are amazing movies. But they both touch on very different matters, so it's hard to say.

But I'm going to go with Donnie Darko, that movie really changed my perception on a lot of things.

Requiem for a dream. I prefer Jared Leto over Jake Gyllenhaul hehe ;)

It is a weird, somewhat disturbing movie, but I liked it.

Donnie Darko was okay, also rather strange though.

Requiem for a dream revolved around drugs. I'm not fond of movies about drugs.

i havent seen donnie darko but if its anything like requiem for a dream was, i will definitely check it out. that requiem movie was so good, so trippy, and so sad. it was one of those ones that you either love or hate and i loved it. his poor mom!
