Why didn't Dirty Harry have 2 bullets left in the chamber?
I just recently saw Dirty Harry for the first time and I just don't get it.
"I know what you're thinking, punk. You're thinking, 'Did he fire six shots or only five?' Now, to tell you the truth, I forgot myself in all this excitement. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and will blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well do ya, punk?!"
Playing back the film Harry only fired 4 shots. Are we to believe he fired 2 other shots days before and never reloaded his gun? or that he only loaded the gun with 4 bullets? This kind of baffles me is all.
