These are from a lab, i did the other q's but i need help on these,

#1) At what point would an egg cease to swell or contract. In other words, why might the movement of water stop?How can this differ in plant cell?Animal cell?

#2) Define quantitative and qualitative observations.

#3) Why are fresh vegetables sprinkled with water at markets? Roads are often salted in winter to melt or prevent formation of ice. What effect might this have on roadside plants?

#4) What is reverse osmosis? where is it used?
