Rate of Effusion Question.?

Question

How much faster do ammonia (NH3) molecules effuse than carbon monoxide (CO) molecules?

Molar Mass NH3 = 17.04, Molar Mass CO = 28.01. So I did ( M CO / M NH3) ^ 1/2 , <--- square root.

= (28.01 / 17.04) ^ 1/2 .

= 1.28.

BUT, when I googled the answer, some people calculated the answer to be (44 / 17) ^ 1/2 = 1.61?

Which is the right answer? More than one person got 1.61.
