where can i buy potassium hydroxide?

I would prefer not to buy online...are there any sources where i can buy this locally? stores, etc?

What you want is called Caustic Potash and as Lye in some grocery stores and drug stores Used in making soap.

Ignore the pratts saying it can be used in explosives-they are talking about potassium perchlorate or potassium nitrate. But if you are looking to clean drains or something like that you can get sodium hydroxide from homebase.
