What types of reasons do states typically sue eachother for?
Again, it's another question on my civics paper that's due tomorrow.

I had a heck of a time trying to find something via google to back me up on this, but I imagine the typical state vs. state lawsuit is over water rights or pollution complaints where the air or water carries the pollution from one state to another.
While looking though, I did find a case of a state senator filing a lawsuit against God. Bot all that relevant to your question, but too interesting not to mention it.Source(s): http://www.ketv.com/news/14133442/detail.html - vs. God. http://www.ketv.com/news/14133442/detail.html - Water rights suits archive
