What is a good book for young adults?

Or what is the best one you ever read and why? Please don't put any fantasy books. I prefer not fiction and comedy.

Crank is really good. it's by Ellen Hopkins.

Burned, also by Ellen Hopkins, is a good read as well.

but definitely check out Crank first. The format of the text may seem a bit sketchy, but it's worth the read :]

Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

    The Awakening by Kate Chopin

A Child Called IT by Dave Pelzer

    :)

  • Oh my gosh read the Twilight series! Or if you dont want fiction (even though that one is pretty "real life" fiction) read the Zion Chronicles Series or Zion Covenant. They are set in WWII, very good.
