Crank is really good. it's by Ellen Hopkins.

Burned, also by Ellen Hopkins, is a good read as well.

but definitely check out Crank first. The format of the text may seem a bit sketchy, but it's worth the read :]

Oh my gosh read the Twilight series! Or if you dont want fiction (even though that one is pretty "real life" fiction) read the Zion Chronicles Series or Zion Covenant. They are set in WWII, very good.
