I think all the following are about the same in meaning:
from my point of view,
from my standpoint,
from my perspective,
in my opinion,
They all mean something like "就我的觀點而言". And yes, from my perspective is slightly more formal, because the word is slightly less used. But I think all of them are used frequently.
as far as I'm concerned,
This is similar, and more general / less specific. This seems to imply that you're personally affected by what you're about to say, rather than just being an objective observer.
