the way you speak to somebody says alot about a person, if you are going for a job interview or answering the phone at work your voice should sound upbeat, warm, under control and clear. its the way words are said which influences how others hear, its all about the tone.

The tone is the sound of the paper. Do you sound angry or sad or happy? It relates to the emotion coming across the paper.

It means to keep your attitude in check. Usually when you start getting cocky or raising your voice you're told to change your tone.

Ask your teacher, the one that wrote it down.

No one could tell you exactly what she meant by, ''Change your tone''

Teachers are human's they are there to educate you, so don't be afraid to ask her/him what they meant !

    Good luck; )
